FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE September 22, 2008 Local optometrist Dr. David W. Gordon today announced his intention to run for re-election for Burbank City Coucil in the February 2009 all-mail election. The first-term councilman today promised to continue his work on behalf of Burbank's citizens. "We've made a good start, but there's more work to do to make Burbank an even better place to work, live and raise a family. I look forward to meeting many of you in the coming months and hope you will join me at an open house reception kicking off my re-election campaign Friday, November 7, 2008, at the Burbank Holiday Inn Crystal View Lounge overlooking beautiful downtown Burbank. Gordon, who took office in Fegruary 2006, serves on numberous council sub-committees including School Fields Oversight Committee, Infrastructure Committee, Environmental Oversight Committee (as Chair), and as Council Liaison to Burbank Association of Realtors. |
